4 Ingredient Wreath Cake

Made from just 4 ingredients, this stunning and delicious wreath cake is sure to impress as your next Christmas party.

You will need:

  •  3 ½ cups thickened cream
  • ½ cup icing sugar
  • 1 cup Irish Cream liquor
  • 500g plain chocolate biscuits (I used Arnott’s Chocolate Ripple)
  • Fresh Cherries to decorate (approx. 300g)



Beat cream, icing sugar and ¼ cup Irish Cream liquor in a large bowl until soft peaks form.

Lay the biscuits on a large plate or tray. Place the remaining liquor in a small bowl. Brush each biscuit on both sides with the liquor.

One by one, spread biscuits with cream mixture and sandwich together. On a flat round serving plate or cake stand, arrange the joined biscuits standing upright to form a wreath. (I join 4 or so biscuits together at a time before laying them on the plate.)

Repeat with remaining biscuits and half the cream mixture.


Tidy up the gaps with extra cream before covering wreath with cream.

Refrigerate for 4 hours to allow biscuits to soften.

Just before serving, decorate the wreath with fresh cherries. Cut on an angle into thick slices.
